External quality assessment (EQA), is the highest level of quality testing of a laboratory’s testing capabilities and qualities, conducted by the Clinical Testing Center, and Pathology Quality Control Center under National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), and multiple other authorized agencies annually.
In 2017, Beijing San Valley medical testing facility (abbreviated as “San Valley Testing”) participated in the first “National Tumor Cell Mutation High Throughput Sequencing Detection” EQA conducted by NHFPC, and passes with a full score again.
This is the first occasion where NHFPC lists Tumor Cell Mutation High Throughput Sequencing Detection as a part of the EQA, used to examine any laboratory’s ability to detect, annotate, and interpret cell mutation. 102 laboratories for 18 provinces (City, Autonomous Regions) took part in this assessment, 92 of them report their results within the set time frame. In this round of assessment, the passing rate for Tumor Cell Mutation High Throughput Sequencing Detection is only 52.3%(49/92), while only 45.7% (42/92)of laboratories that passes with full scores.
San Valley Testing’s repeated success in the “National Tumor Cell Mutation High Throughput Sequencing Detection” EQA conducted by NHFPC demonstrates our excellent capabilities in tumor cell mutation high throughput sequencing detection, and also a rare opportunity to assess and supervise the efficacy and reliability of our quality control.
Ever since our founding, San Valley Testing eagerly participates in every annual national level EDA and achieve excellent results; in our day-to day testing service we also hold true to our “Accurate, Timely, High-quality, Scientifically Just and Continuous Improvements” quality principles.
